1Organizer, period and eligibility
Organizer. The "Blackfrost 2026" contest (the "Contest") is organized by Fenris Workshop Inc., 112-710, rue Bouvier, Québec (Québec) G2J 1C2, warden@fenrisworkshop.com, 418 455-1663 (the "Organizer").
Period. The Contest begins on November 6, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. and ends on November 29, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time (the "Contest Period"). It is divided into 3 weeks:
| Week | Entry period (Eastern Time) | Draw |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nov. 6, 2026, 12:00 a.m. to Nov. 12, 2026, 11:59 p.m. | Nov. 13, 2026, 4 p.m. |
| 2 | Nov. 13, 2026, 12:00 a.m. to Nov. 19, 2026, 11:59 p.m. | Nov. 20, 2026, 4 p.m. |
| 3 | Nov. 20, 2026, 12:00 a.m. to Nov. 29, 2026, 11:59 p.m. | Nov. 30, 2026, 4 p.m. |
Eligibility. The Contest is open to any person who, at the time of entry:
- is a legal resident of Canada;
- has reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
Excluded: the employees, representatives and agents of the Organizer, of its prize suppliers and of its promotional agencies, as well as the persons with whom they are domiciled.
Acceptance of the rules. By entering, the person agrees to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Organizer, which are final on any matter relating to the Contest.
2Ways to enter
There are two types of tickets: standard tickets, which enter the draws for the regular prizes, and premium tickets, which enter the draw for each week's premium prize. No purchase necessary: the no-purchase entry (point C) gives access to both types of tickets.
A. Active customer account (free). Any eligible person who has an active account on shop.fenrisworkshop.com receives 1 regular ticket. An account is active if the person has signed in to it at least once during the Contest Period. The account may have been created before or during the Contest Period. Limit: 1 ticket of this type per person for the entire Contest. Creating an account and signing in require no purchase.
B. Tickets with purchase. Purchases made from the Organizer, in store or online, add up within the same week (section 1). The amount counted is the amount after discounts, before taxes and shipping fees:
- each full $50 of cumulative purchases in the week gives 1 regular ticket;
- each full $250 of cumulative purchases in the week also gives 1 premium ticket.
| Cumulative purchases in the week | Regular tickets | Premium tickets |
|---|---|---|
| $50 | 1 | 0 |
| $100 | 2 | 0 |
| $250 | 5 | 1 |
| $300 | 6 | 1 |
| $500 | 10 | 2 |
The cumulative total resets to zero at the start of each week. In-store purchases count if they are linked to the person's customer account at the time of the transaction. A cancelled or refunded transaction loses the tickets linked to it.
C. No-purchase entry. Any eligible person may, without purchase, send a letter that includes:
- their name, address, telephone number and email;
- an original text of 150 words or fewer that imagines the story (backstory) of Varek, the first bearer of the Blackshard.
The letter is sent by mail to Fenris Workshop Inc., Concours Blackfrost 2026, 112-710, rue Bouvier, Québec (Québec) G2J 1C2. Each valid letter gives 1 premium ticket and 5 regular tickets. Limit: 1 letter per person for the entire Contest. A letter received during a week enters that week's draws and, if it does not win, the following weeks' draws (section 4). Copied, automatically generated or bulk-sent texts are refused.
Limits. There is no maximum number of tickets per person. A person may use only one customer account and one email address.

Runes. Runes are the currency of the Organizer's loyalty program: 250 Runes are worth $10 of purchases on shop.fenrisworkshop.com. The 1,250 Runes are deposited in the winner's customer account and are used according to the program's terms. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
Prize conditions. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. They cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted into cash. If a prize is not available, the Organizer may replace it with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are delivered anywhere in Canada, at the Organizer's expense.
4Draws
Each week, the Organizer draws the prizes at random with a random draw tool, on November 13, 20 and 30, 2026 at around 4 p.m. (Eastern Time). The results are announced on Facebook and Instagram.
Eligible tickets. Each draw is made from all tickets of the same type received from the start of the Contest to the end of the week concerned, minus tickets that have already won.
Order of the draws. Each week, the premium prizes are drawn first, from the premium tickets, in the order of section 3. The regular prizes are drawn next, from the regular tickets.
One prize per person per week. A person may win only one prize per week. When a person is selected, all of their other tickets, premium and regular, are set aside for the rest of that week's draws.
Carry-over of tickets. At the end of each week, non-winning tickets, including those set aside, are carried over to the following weeks' draws. A winning ticket is permanently removed. The same person may therefore win a prize in more than one week.
5Odds of winning, claiming and conditions
Odds of winning. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible tickets of each type at the time of each draw.
Contacting the selected persons. The Organizer writes to each selected person, at the email address of their account or of their letter, on the day of the draw or the following business day. The person has 7 days from that message to reply.
Conditions to be declared a winner. Before being declared a winner, the selected person must, within the same 7-day period:
- correctly answer, by email and without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question;
- sign and return the declaration and release of liability form provided by the Organizer, with their delivery address.
If the person does not reply within the time limit, answers the question incorrectly or does not comply with the rules, they forfeit the prize. The Organizer then draws another ticket of the same type, under the same rules.
Prize delivery. Prizes are shipped at the Organizer's expense within 2 weeks of the winner's confirmation, to an address in Canada.
Limitation of liability. The Organizer is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries, nor for technical failures. Any fraudulent entry or entry made by automated means is void.
Modification or cancellation. The Organizer may modify, suspend or cancel the Contest in the event of an occurrence beyond its control that compromises its normal running. It notifies participants on its website and its social media.
Social media. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Personal information. The information collected for the Contest (name, contact details, purchase history for the Contest Period) is used to award the tickets, to contact the selected persons and to deliver the prizes. It is kept by the Organizer and is shared with third parties only for the delivery of the prizes. The Organizer's privacy policy applies otherwise. For any question or access request: warden@fenrisworkshop.com.
Publication of winners. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to their first name, last-name initial and city being published on the Organizer's website, Facebook and Instagram, without compensation.
Language and applicable law. These rules are published in French and English; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails. The Contest is governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
Access to the rules. The rules are available on shop.fenrisworkshop.com/pages/blackfrost-giveaway and in store, at 112-710, rue Bouvier, Québec.
